The Solidarity Food Plan is chock full of nature’s superfoods in tasty, affordable, easy to make recipes. It’s designed to keep you full and satisfied so you can more easily transition away from the saturated fats and toxic proteins of animal-based foods that cause us disease and keep us sick. 

 

Unlike most all the food/meal plans we sampled, the Solidarity Food Plan incorporates 3 full meals and 2 snacks, everyday, 7 days a week. Our plan also incorporates what may be a surprising amount of organic foods, fresh veggies and fruits for the very low cost of the plan. And you’ll also find whole grains, legumes, tofu and lots of different and tasty spices. 

 

We also don’t scrimp on the spices. There’s no reason to have boring food! If you follow the full 28 day plan, you’ll have 18 different spices in your cabinet by the end. You will also build your confidence as a vegan and learn to feed yourself in a way that is healthy and fulfilling.

 

And affordable! The Solidarity Food Plan busts the myth that only affluent people can afford a tasty, healthy vegan diet…

 

We want you to enjoy your food, not feel like you need to suffer to achieve your goals, so we worked hard to make sure you can get the best and tastiest nutrition for your food dollar. The plan was informed by a family of budget-conscious vegan comfort-foodies with 30 years experience of trying and improving on recipes that will make you excited about your meals. 

 

We researched the total cost of our 28-day plan across five different regions in the U.S. In each region, we assessed the monthly amounts that folks are granted for food assistance through the SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits. All the ingredients used in the Solidarity Food Plan are eligible for SNAP. And we’ve ensured that the total cost of our 28 plan is at or below the monthly SNAP allowance.
